The Tillamook County Water Trail encompasses nearly 200 miles of navigable waterways in Tillamook County in northwestern Oregon. These non-contiguous trails include rivers cascading through the coastal range to flat water along the northern coast. The water trails have ample signage, camping areas and places to launch non-motorized water craft.

Protected and managed by the Tillamook Estuaries Program (TEP), the citizen-led Tillamook County Water Trail (TCWT) offers four waterproof guidebooks of the five watersheds: Nehalem Watershed, Tillamook Bay Watershed, Nestucca and Sand Lake Watersheds, and Netarts Watershed.

Waterproof guidebooks with maps are available at the Tillamook Estuaries Program offices in Garibaldi, Oregon, on Tillamook Bay. Online are free, non-waterproof PDF versions of each guidebook with maps which can be downloaded from the Tillamook Estuaries Program website. See the resources for details.

Detailed with colored maps and local information and highlighted by gorgeous photos, these guidebooks are an excellent companion for any recreationalist eager to explore northwestern Oregon’s waterways.
