Experience the beauty of Whidbey Island at the annual Tour de Whidbey on August 19. Choose from various routes suitable for all cyclists, including the 10-mile Family Ride and the challenging 162-mile Perimeter of Whidbey. Join us for a remarkable event, embracing camaraderie, happiness, and breathtaking vistas.
The Tour de Whidbey is a fundraising cycling event for the WhidbeyHealth Foundation. With over $65,000 raised last year, the funds were used to purchase two ambulances, supporting emergency medical services throughout the island.
The Tour de Whidbey offers a range of routes for cyclists of all abilities, including Whidbey Power, Century, Metric Century, Half Century, Half Metric Century, and a family-friendly 10-mile route. Each route is marked and has break stations every 10-18 miles for fuel and hydration.
The POWER route is a thrilling challenge for experienced cyclists, encircling Whidbey Island with coastal roads and 11,000 feet of elevation. Riders will enjoy stunning landscapes, including the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges, rural coastal settings, and charming towns, with both demanding ascents and rewarding descents.
