The GBRC Turkey Trot is a 5K fun run that all net proceeds will benefit the Bellingham Food Bank. It starts at Squalicum Creek Park (1001 Squalicum Way, Bellingham) at 9 a.m. Strollers and children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. The top three male and female finishers will win prizes. This year, we’re shaking it up. Awards will include: the youngest finisher (on their own two feet), the oldest finisher, the fastest stroller, and the best costume. Random prizes will be drawn otherwise. There will be no official award ceremony, but the winners will be announced and can pick up their awards in the pavilion after they finish.
