OutdoorsNW is thrilled to invite anglers of all ages and skill levels to Washington's much-anticipated Free Fishing Weekend. For two days only, June 8th and 9th, everyone is welcome to enjoy fishing in any of Washington's abundant waters, license-free!

Why You Should Not Miss This Event

No License Required: That's right! No fishing license is needed to fish on these days. It’s the perfect opportunity for beginners to try their hand at fishing and for seasoned anglers to explore new waters.

Family-Friendly Fun: This event is perfect for families looking to spend quality time together outdoors. Fishing is a wonderful way to connect with nature and each other.

Event Highlights

Fishing Demonstrations: Witness live demonstrations and learn various fishing techniques, including fly fishing, bait casting, and more.

Kid’s Fishing Ponds: Special areas will be set up for young anglers to practice and hone their fishing skills, with assistance from friendly volunteers.

Conservation Education: Learn about the importance of conservation and how you can help preserve Washington's beautiful aquatic ecosystems for future generations.

Equipment Rentals: Don't have your own gear? No problem! A limited amount of fishing gear will be available for loan at select locations.

Check Local Regulations: Even though a license isn’t required, all other fishing regulations, including size and catch limits, apply.

Safety First: Remember to wear life jackets when fishing from a boat and follow all safety guidelines.
